Cleaner Energy Future Initiative( CEFIA)(27th. Nov., 2019)
On November 27 (Wednesday), the first CEFIA Forum was held in Manila, Philippines, hosted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. It was a magnificent event with a greeting. The venue with seats for 230 people was almost full. This forum was held as a meeting to promote cooperation between ASEAN countries and China, Japan and Korea from the three aspects of technology, human resource development and policy, with the cooperation of the public and private sectors, toward the realization of a low-carbon society. .
The secretariat was run by ACE (ASEAN Center for Energy) and Philippine DOE (Department of Energy). JASE-W co-announced the ongoing efforts of the ZEB dissemination WG with Malaysia's Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA), which signed a MOU last year, and jointly working with ASEAN countries in Japan-Malaysia, appealing as an example. At the venue, executives of the Philippines Architect's Association (UAP) and the Philippine Green Building Initiative (PGBI), who worked together so far, expressed their expectations for further cooperation in the future.

Public-Private Joint Energy Business Delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (18-20th Nov., 2019)
JASE-W dispatched a Public-Private Joint Energy Business Delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to actualize and accelerate cooperation in the field of energy which was stipulated in the "Saudi-Japan Vision 2030". For JASE-W it has been the first time mission to KSA since January 2010. By getting the active support from METI, Energy Conservation Center, Japan and Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East and Japanse Embassy to the Kingdom, over 20 members consisting from METI and public entities as well as 8 private companies all which wish to disseminate their advanced energy-saving and renewable energy products & technologies visited relevant public organizations and energy companies to make one by one presentations and fruitful questions and answers to follow. All there showed esteemed hospitality and keen interests leading to possible mutual business opportunities for the future.

PCRA Workshop on Energy Efficiency in Refinery Sector (8th Nov., 2019)
JASE-W participated the Workshop on Energy Efficiency in Refinery Sector organized Petroleum Conservation Research Association(PCRA) on 8th November, next day of the Business Forum.
At the begging of Session-1, Mr. Joshi, PCRA, made a presentation of the energy audit by PAT(Performance Achieve and Trade) scheme on refinery sector and in Session-2 major Indian oil companies introduced their energy saving activities and progress.
From Japan headed Mr. Aoyama. the executive Committee Chairman and Mr. Kimura, deputy director of METI and 3 companies of JASE-W members participated and introduced their energy saving technologies on refinery.
There are about 30 participants and achieve discussions were held.

India-Japan Business Forum for Energy Efficiency, Conservation and Renewable Energy (7th. Nov., 2019)
JASE-W held the India-Japan Business Forum for Energy Efficiency, Conservation and Renewable Energy With full support of the Energy Resources Institute(TERI) and both countries's energy ministries, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry(METI), and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power(MoP), as well as Embassy of Japan.
7 of JASE-W members' companies introduced their technologies and products, and totally more than 130 people participated and The Forum has ended successfully.

“Building the Infrastructure for the Circular Economy in APEC” in Hong Kong (Waste to Energy WG)
The Waste to Energy Working Group developed the “Handbook of Quality WtE Infrastructure
(HQWEI)“ and has been making efforts to let the Handbook known to abroad as well as adopted to the APEC Guideline. In this context the WG dispatched its member to the Conference “Building the Infrastructure for the Circular Economy in APEC” in Hong Kong on 9 th September which was hosted by APEC Business Advisory Councils(ABAC) and there he gave a presentation on desirable WtE facilities etc.
